Galveston Day 2

On Monday, we woke up to cinnamon rolls cooking in the oven and coffee brewing!  Macy and I got up and sat on the balcony for a bit with Uncle Aaron, Grammy, Cason, Bryce and Aunt Kristyn.  Pops, Eden and Daddy all stayed in bed for a bit longer;-)

After breakfast, we headed back to the pool!  Pops and Grammy stayed behind and let Eden get a morning nap.

This was our balcony on the third floor (taken from the swimming pool).  It was the perfect location!  So close to the pool and Grammy and Pops could see us swimming from the balcony...

We went back to the condo for lunch (sandwiches and leftover hamburgers) then laid the kids down for naps.  They were exhausted after being at the pool all morning!

Pops and Grammy bought all the kids these little toddler cots called "My Cot".  They were perfect and will really come in handy anytime we travel!!  Macy loved that hers was pink:-)  When they came before we left for Galveston, we went to Pops and Grammy's so Macy could see it and try it out...

 Her owl mat fit perfectly on it and she slept great the whole trip.  This was from her nap Monday afternoon...

After naps, we made fajitas and had dinner out on the balcony.  We really had great weather and there was a nice breeze...

We went back to the beach after dinner and the kids played and collected sea shells.

Then, baths and ready for bed!

After the kids went down, we stayed up and played Banana-grams for a bit!

Galveston Day 1

July 15-18, we headed to Galveston with my family to spend some time at the beach!  It was a much needed vacation after moving the weekend before!  Super relaxing!

We got into town around 1:00 Sunday and did a dolphin tour out of the harbor. It was really neat and we got to see so many dolphins up close!  None of my pictures do it justice because you had to be looking at exactly the right moment and they were usually back in the water by the time you clicked the picture.

After the dolphin tour, we stopped at WalMart to get all our groceries before heading to our condo.  We stayed in Pointe West, about 20 miles out of Galveston, almost to Freeport.  They have a beautiful pool in addition to being right on the beach.  It's worth the drive to get out a little bit!

While Pops and Grammy prepared dinner, we took the kids down to the pool for a bit.  Then, Pops and Grammy brought all the food down and we grilled hamburgers and ate down by the pool.  It was so nice!!

We took the food back to the condo and decided to check out the beach...

Eden too is a little fish and loves water!

After a cousin bath in Pop's and Grammy's big tub, we got the kiddos down (Bryce slept in Aaron and Kristyn's room, Macy slept in our room, Cason slept in Grammy and Pops room, and Eden slept in Grammy and Pops big walk-in closet!).  Then we ate some birthday cake my mom made for me (yes without the children!  Hehe..!)

We called it a night around 10:30 because it had been a long day of travel!
