This past weekend we went on our annual Austin trip with the Gentry's. Basketball for the guys and shopping for the girls!
T-R-O-U-B-L-E! Macy and Scarlett had a great time riding in the back together :-)
Showing me their Piglets!
On Thursday, the girls stopped in Waco for lunch and then some shopping in Salado and Round Rock. We ate at Chili's in Round Rock then headed to the hotel. I did quick baths and got my sleepy girls down as quick as possible!
We planned on doing the San Marcos outlets on Friday, but the weather just did not cooperate with us! It was rainy and COLD! We decided to stay in town and go to Barton Creek mall so we could be inside without having to get the kiddos in and out. About a month ago, the girls decided to make number shirts for all the kids in their birth order (we are up to 10!) So fun!
My #6
And #8
After a quick lunch at the food court, we started walking the mall. Both of my girls are bed sleepers and have a hard time getting comfortable in the stroller, but they both managed to nap well this afternoon and Mommy got some shopping done!
The many faces of Macy (trying to send pictures to Daddy throughout the day!)
Blowing Daddy a kiss
One last pic before she gave it up and fell asleep!
Sweetness!
Ready or not, awake we are Mommy!
That night we met the guys for dinner at Fuddruckers.
8, 9, and 10 taking a little catnap in the corner...
Sweet little Nathan! One month old already!
Our number pictures were a big flop! We could not get them to cooperate at this point, much less all at the same time!
I will say that 5 and 6 were giving us the most trouble! ;-)
Then they just decided to hug! Pretty sweet even if we didn't get a great group picture.
That night, I did baths again (as quick as possible!), Eden's nighttime bottle, and to bed for both! They were sleeping in the same room and did great every night. Never heard them after I shut the door.
Macy munching on a snack and watching Dora while Eden took her bottle
Saturday we stopped at a Carter's and Steinmart then headed to another mall. Another cold and rainy day!
My little helper...
Arriving at the mall...
Macy and Scarlett
Eden and Garrett
This mall had a Disney store so I decided to buy Eden a little Roo since Macy has a big Piglet and a little Piglet. She napped with it the rest of the trip:-)
This particular day, neither of the girls took great naps so after baths that night, they were OUT! Eden never moved...
Macy saw Mommy take a picture of sister so she pretended she was asleep so she could get her picture taken...
And about 10 minutes later, she really was!
Checking out of the hotel...
Eden was in charge of getting Roo to the car!
Napping on the way home...
The girls were such troopers and Mommy got some great shopping done. Especially spring and summer clothes for Macy girl which she was definitely in need of.
In spite of the weather, we had a great time! Thank you Nana and Papa!
You are so brave. My vote is that next year yall hire a nanny to come along ;) Just kidding...looks like your girls did awesome. Much better than my kids would have cooperated :)
