We are now in full-blown 1st birthday party planning mode! Where does the time go?!?! Last Sunday, Eden turned 11 months old!
We are now an "experienced crawler" after it seemed like it took her forever to get it...She is fast now!
You've also started pulling up, but you prefer to pull up on people as opposed to furniture
You're not very sturdy at this point and you haven't stood without holding on to anything yet. But, you do enjoy practicing with your walker!
Eating all table food now and hasn't turned down anything yet. You LOVE food! Some favorites right now: pizza, turkey, grilled cheese, rice and beans, avocados, and of course Chick-fil-A! Yesterday I actually bought two kids meals because they can both eat a whole one.
Eden also likes to "share" her food (and her paci: you will try to put it in Mommy's mouth!)...
Still a little clingy to Mommy and Daddy. Even though you are mobile, you still like being held or at least in close proximity:-) However, you really haven't gone through any separation anxiety when we drop you at the church nursery. But as soon as you see Mommy and Daddy at the door you book it over as fast as possible!
Eden and Jackson just chillin'
And they're out...
Getting so big!
Eden and Great-Nana
May 20: exactly 11 months
You are still wearing size 6-12 months, in size 2 shoes, and size 3 diapers. You also still only have your two bottom teeth; no sign yet of the uppers!
Sweet Eden Joy! You are learning so much each day and I continue to LOVE this phase you are in. I love seeing that sweet personality blossom. You've discovered your bows and I've almost given up on even wearing them. You even heard me say "bow" one day and you pointed to your head. You are a huge music lover, we think even more than Macy was. As soon as you hear music, you will stop what you are doing and "dance". It's the cutest thing. You've also thrilled your Daddy in that you know to clap when he starts chanting: Let's go Rangers! (clap, clap, clap clap clap!) I've got to get that on video soon... You also nod YES now and you've started holding Mommy's phone up to your ear. You really must be watching to have already learned that one! Sister does love you and we have these wonderful shining moments of sweet play time together. Then she typically knocks you over and you cry;-) But, she's testing her boundaries and you've learned to put up with a lot of it. She may be toughening you up a bit;-) Mommy or Daddy will definitely come to the rescue if you are in danger of injury but we do enjoy watching the two of you interact. Unfortunately, you also have a deep love for Piglet and that tends to send sister in panic mode when she sees Piglet in your mouth. You still love your Roo, but what is it about Piglet?!? Must be the pink thing;-)
Oh Eden, you are just precious. My sweet and sensitive child, I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for you.
