Cousins - Spring Break

My mom met my sister-in-law in Dallas last Wednesday and picked up my nephews to keep for a few days.  The girls LOVE when Cason and Bryce are here!

Wednesday after naps, we headed over to see them and eat dinner together.  Then, we played outside for a while.  The weather this week was amazing and we tried to really take advantage.  My parents have a basketful of random balls that my brother and I had growing up.  They had so much fun throwing, kicking and doing some batting practice.  They were worn out and we went in and did baths.  We headed home with the girls to get them to sleep.

Thursday morning, we met some friends at Bullard Park and had a picnic lunch.  Macy and Cason just chased each other everywhere and Eden kept asking to go down the slides.  I think they all really enjoyed this park.  We headed to see Daddy real quick on his lunch break then went home for naps.  We got together with Josh's family for Tennille's birthday then stopped by to see the boys on our way home.

Friday morning, the boys came over to our house to play for a while.  They started in the playroom, then did some puzzles at the table, but it wasn't long before they were asking to go outside.  Then, they drove the cars and played in the driveway...

For lunch, we loaded them up and headed to Sonic.  I think this was the first time my girls have been to their playground (sand is my nemesis!) and it took Eden a while to warm up to it.  She wasn't so sure.  Another night and day difference between the two girls; Macy was off!

After naps, we got back together for dinner then headed right back outside to play.  The boys brought their bikes with them, so we went on a walk around the neighborhood.  Bryce shared his bike with  Macy for awhile and I think by the end of it, Josh had pretty much taught her how to ride it.  It took some practice to figure out the pedals.  They had so much fun but their little legs were tired.  After baths, they sat down to watch Mickey to wind down before bed.

 And then it turned into a dance party...

Aaron and Kristyn were coming in late this night, so we headed home with the girls to get them to bed.  We went back over Saturday morning for breakfast then Mimi and Pappa, and Great Nana came over for a BBQ lunch.  After lunch, we walked over to our house for Aaron and Kristyn and Mimi and Pappa to see it.  We did naps at Pops and Grammy's then unleashed them on these dirt piles when they woke up...

Eden woke up and decided to check it out...

Eden only lasted about 3 minutes.  She was not a fan of dirt in her shoes!  Oh boy...

It was so nice outside, we set up some tables and ate fajitas in the driveway.  Then we ended the evening with another walk and bike ride around the neighborhood.  The kids were filthy after playing in the dirt, so we did separate showers then laid them down.  However, Eden ended up getting sick and we took them home to tend to her.  She had a rough night and we ended up not getting to see Aaron and Kristyn for lunch on Sunday.

But they're coming back in April for a Davis family reunion!
