Kit-Kat is 2 weeks old now and still doing great! She makes life super easy on Mommy and Daddy and continues to have a very laid-back personality. Her sisters are doing great taking care of her and enjoy giving her baths and fixing her hair the most. She eats every three hours during the day and 3-4 hours at night; usually waking twice but goes right back to sleep. She gets the hiccups every time she eats! We love her sweet little newborn sounds and how she almost looks like she's smiling when you talk to her. Can not believe she's already 2 weeks old but still so thankful that she's here.
She weighed 6 pounds 10 ounces at her check-up yesterday and was 20.5 inches. Gained a whole inch from birth! Dr. B gave her a glowing report and asked if he could use her on consultations to teach other babies to be this easy:) We are still holding our breath to see if she wakes it up and becomes more of a challenge!
She attended dance with the girls the first time yesterday and we survived our first big outing without Daddy!
We are just enjoying this sweet gift. Our hearts still ache to see what life would be like with all four of our girls, but He is continuing to heal. Will always hurt for Sadie, but thankful we have hope and the promise of Heaven.
