In spite of it being rainy and a little chilly, we had a great Easter! It's been really neat to see the girls' understanding of the resurrection grow each year. Macy especially! I overheard her telling Josh every event that happened that last week starting with His triumphal entry and ending with the empty tomb. She is listening and learning and taking it all in. What a privilege that we get to share with our girls how we serve a risen Savior; One who overcame death and loves us deeply. What hope we have because of the resurrection.
We are still figuring out the amount of time it takes to get 3 girls ready for church, but we did manage to have a few minutes to take pictures :)
My sweet friend, Ashley, gave me these dresses at my baby shower for Kate. She is so talented!
And yes, the girls are super sun-burned from our Saturday afternoon Easter adventures :/
After church, we headed to Pops and Grammy's for an Easter lunch with Great-Nana, Uncle David, Aunt Net, Jacob, Megan and Shane. We took a few more pictures; had a delicious lunch; and did an indoor Easter egg hunt for the kiddos.
Just had to include what an accurate family picture looks like right now!
