The months are going by faster than I can keep up!
September 1 marked 7 months for our sweet KK! She is such a joy.
Still our itty bitty, she can wear most her 3-6 month or 6 months clothes and just moved to size 2 diapers although they are pretty big. Her skinny jeans are 3 months and still a little baggy! ;-)
She's on a great eating schedule, pretty much breakfast, lunch and dinner. And then she nurses again right before she goes to sleep. She is ready for sleep around 8:00-8:30 (earlier than Macy and Eden ever wanted to go to sleep!) and sleeps until 7:30ish. It's rare that we hear her in the night. She loves her sleep just like the big two! When we are home, she naps 1-2 hours in the morning but sometimes (especially on Macy's school days) she just gets several catnaps in her car seat. Then a good 3 hour afternoon nap.
We've finally mastered sitting up and she's pretty trustworthy now. If she does topple, it's usually on purpose so she can roll over to get to something. She is also pretty close to crawling. She gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth. She's even moved a bit doing it but hasn't quite figured out where all the arms and legs are supposed to go!
She eats oatmeal cereal and fruit for breakfast; a fruit/veggie for lunch; and a fruit/veggie for dinner. We haven't really found anything that she turns her nose up at yet. At first, she didn't seem to like bananas, but she's come around to them.
For the most part, she does great in the church and gym childcare but I've been called twice. She is a little rotten to Mommy and sometimes she just decides she's going to cry until they call me. Spoiled yes, but I love that she's my girl!
She really is the easiest baby. Just goes wherever and you never even know she's there. We went to Canton this month and I remember thinking "She even makes Canton easy!"
She loves sitting up and playing in her room and will still do her swing or excersaucer every now and then. Everything goes to her mouth and she loves those chew bead necklaces I wear. She still takes a paci occasionally, usually just to go to sleep.
She's laid down in her bed to go to sleep, but at night lately she's been letting me snuggle her for a few minutes before laying her down. It's my favorite time of the day! Sometimes she will let Daddy snuggle but she's usually looking over his shoulder for Mommy!
She still thinks Macy and Eden are the funniest things and just giggles at them. I know she will be chasing after them sooner than I'm ready!
This girl… She is the sweetest blessing. These last 7 months have been a precious time for our family. We love you Kit-Kat!
