Eden Joy turned 19 months on the 20th and officially became the exact age Macy was when Eden was born (!?!?!?) She seems so much more like a baby to me then Macy did at this point! Maybe because she is my baby:)
Her vocabulary is exploding and she says more words now than we can count! She still repeats everything but is really learning to identify what objects are. She points to something and says what it is then looks for our approval (meaning we have to repeat it back to her!) Some of her new words are: nite-nite, bath, thank you, baby Roo, Minnie/Mickey Mouse, bird, kitty, fish, hat, bow, teeth, puppy Lexi, sister (this-ster)...
At her 18 month well check (which was basically at 19 months) she was 20.8 lbs (18th%) and 31.5 in (32nd%), which is almost exactly the same size as Macy at this point. She's still rear-facing in the car, but we will probably turn her soon.
She's been watching Macy's Piglet Movie and her new thing is trying to do Tigger's voice. Whoo, whoo, whoo, whoOOoo! It's the cutest thing!
This girl LOVES music and dancing. It's like her body can't help but move when she hears music playing. She will stop what she's doing to dance! Lately, we will just turn the TV on to one of our music channels and all dance together. She would do it all day! And, I'll be honest, she's got some good moves! She twists her hips back and forth to the beat:)
When you hand her something, she will say "aaa-ooo Mommy". Her way of saying "thank you".
She still adores baby dolls and will bring me a baby doll or Roo and ask me to wrap a blanket around them or put a diaper on them. She gets so excited that she dances in place while she waits on me to do it. Then she holds the baby close to her face and pats it while she walks away.
She loves animals and for the most part, calls everything a puppy. Her favorite thing to watch is Baby Einstein Neighborhood Animals.
She still likes to race ("On mark"...."Go!") and it's so cute watching her run.
Although she is definitely still my sensitive child, Macy is starting to toughen her up a bit:) We don't cry at every little injury now!
Eden Joy, I love how you still want to be held and loved on! You are a little clingy to Mommy right now, but I'm not complaining! You will walk up to me and say "-ock, -ock" meaning you want me to rock you. I love how sweet you are baby girl!
She's got a sweet tooth like sister!
Loves wearing the dress-up shoes
Holding hands with Jackson
Sweetness!
My little ballerina!
