The dress Eden's wearing, I found at Wiggles and Giggles last summer and thought it was too cute. They had it in her and Sadie's size, but not Macy's. So, I bought it for Eden and Sadie then decided to make one to coordinate for Macy. On Easter morning, the girls had bags of change in their baskets. We have decided to go to Disney World next month and they've been saving their money for souvenirs and were super excited :)
We heard a great lesson about Jesus' power and pursuit to restore us from our sin, struggles and hurts as told through the story of Peter. By the time Jesus was buried, Peter was a broken man. He had denied Jesus in spite of his claim that he would never do such a thing. After the tomb was found empty, we see how Jesus specifically pursued Peter as an expression of His love and compassion for us, in spite of ourselves.
Josh and I worked the nursery during church so we missed out on worship, but what a wonderful day celebrating our risen Lord.
