August 5th, after bath, I decided to trim up Macy's hair. It's never been cut and I love it long, but it was starting to get very stringy and thin on the ends. So, we trimmed it up just a bit and I think it looks healthier. We did the bag of hair also to go in the baby book:-)

Mommy/Daddy Gettaway

August 3-4, Josh and I darted over to Dallas to spend the weekend together (a late anniversary trip!). With the girls in capable hands with Grammy and Pops, we were excited to spend some quality time together (especially since Josh has been traveling extensively lately!) We got into Dallas around 4:00 and did a little shopping before checking into the hotel. We had tickets to see "Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat" that night.

While the musical was extremely entertaining and even funny, we were baffled at how they could tell a Biblical story without once mentioning God or giving Him glory!?! In their telling, Joseph was a dreamer who happened upon some good luck. Reminds me of Jim Denison's forum this morning...

Saturday, we walked through some kitchen and bath showrooms then shopped for a while at Firewheel in Garland. We got home as the girls were waking up from naps and were excited to see them!
