Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Last night, Macy attended her 2nd Rangers game. We had a great time! The weather was nice, Josh got us awesome seats for a steal, and Macy was so good. Our little people-watcher could be entertained for hours with that many subjects to observe. She doesn't miss a thing!

We had a show before the game. The Golden Knights skydivers jumped into the outfield.

But one of them got stuck on the flagpole!

This sweet old man (and by sweet, I mean drunk) sitting in front of us kept turning around wanting to talk to Macy. Well, he woke her up!

Just had a 5 minute power nap!

On a side note, this is what our little monkey is doing in her crib now...

Stomach Bug: Check!

Well, we have officially survived our first stomach bug (we are assuming it was a stomach bug!) Wednesday night, Macy got sick around 8:00. She wasn't running fever and still acted like she felt fine, so we weren't sure if it was going to be a one time thing or if she really was sick. We went ahead and bathed her, fed her and laid her down for the night. She went right to sleep. Around 10:45 we heard her make a sound. When I got to her room, she was sitting up and had thrown up again in her bed. Poor little thing! We got her up, did a little sponge bath in the sink, started a load of laundry and set up her pack-n-play in our bedroom. I wanted her to be close to us. Long story short, she got sick 2 or 3 more times in the next 30 minutes. Around midnight, we laid her down in her pack-n-play and she slept until 8:30 yesterday morning. As soon as she woke up, she was starving! "More", "More" she kept telling us! We tried to ease her back into foods, but she wanted everything in sight! She was completely back to normal. We are assuming it was a little bug, but it only lasted from 8-11:30 that night and it never seemed to phase her. A nice way to "ease" us into taking care of a sick child.

Laundry list Wednesday night:

  • Macy's sheets
  • one bumper pad
  • her sheet protector
  • 4 pairs of Macy's pajamas
  • 2 pairs of Mommy's pajamas
  • 1 pair of Daddy's pajamas
  • 3 towels
  • 2 wash clothes

Graham Pics

Sunday, I blogged about my nephew's birthday party. I wanted to post some other pictures from last weekend. Josh, Macy and I actually got to go down Thursday night and spend two nights with my brother and sister-in-law. This is such a treat for us! We had not been to their house since Cason's birthday last year.

Cousin Cason gave this little table to Macy to play with. We even brought it home with us and will give it back when my new nephew needs it:-) Macy loved it! It's really helping her learn how to pull up.

My parents gave Cason a slide and we just had to put it together before the party so the kids could play. Macy enjoyed it just as much as Cason!

It's tiring to stand so I think I'll sit on my knees for a minute

Back to the slide

Macy started this thing this weekend where she smiles if you hold a camera in front of her and say "Cheese!" It's like she's used to having her picture taken or something???

On a side note, we were so hot the other night after a walk around the neighborhood we decided to play in the sprinklers! Macy giggled as we ran around with her through the water.

Even Lexi got in on the action!
