Counting Down!

We have our sonogram scheduled for 3 weeks from today! I am so excited to find out what this little one is and call him/her by name. I will be 22 weeks at that point and this will be the first time we've "seen" the baby. I can't wait!! I posted a poll on the side so you can make your predictions!

We had another appointment today and it is such a blessing each time we get to hear that precious heartbeat. A few weeks ago, I watched the "Sanctity of Life" video that was floating around facebook. I cried through it 3 times, one of those times Macy was sitting in my lap waving at all the babies:-) It truly is overwhelming to see this life God created grow and flourish. At about 16 weeks, I began to feel those first little flutters and it takes my breath away every time! Even when you've had a baby, for some reason you forget what that movement feels like. It's a sweet reminder each time.

As much as I want this pregnancy to fly by so I can meet this little one, I'm ready for this one to stop growing so quickly!!...

SNOW!

Macy is only 14 months old and has seen snow twice! I think I was in college before I saw snow more than once!

When she woke up from her nap, we went out to "play" for about 15 minutes.

The house

The backyard

Walking in snow the first time

Daddy built a snowman just Macy's size!

Fun times!

The First of Many and a Trip to the Zoo

Yesterday when Macy and I got home from MOPS, I found this in her bag...

Her first church craft!!

Last night, before we laid her down, we looked at the picture together and I said "Macy, did you make this?"
-shakes her head yes
"Did you do it all by yourself, without any help?"
-shakes her head yes

Now I know that MY child did not sit still long enough to put even one snowflake on this picture, but it has her name on it and that's good enough for me!

It will be the first of many refrigerator art.

Last Friday, Josh and I took Macy to the zoo. It was a beautiful day and the zoo was absolutely empty! We got there in time for lunch and left around 2. She fell asleep in her carseat almost immediately! It was a great day. We love having Daddy home on weekdays:-)

The flamingos are still one of her favorites!
