Dance Dress Rehearsal and Recital

Macy completed her first year of dance with her recital on April 26th.  I could not have been more proud of her!  She absolutely loved being on stage (no surprise there) and was just lit up all day.  She loved that her family members came to watch and support her and she let me take all the pictures I wanted!  Dance has been a huge blessing for us this year.  Macy has made some sweet friends that she's really been missing the last month.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day definitely holds new meaning for me now.  I struggled wanting so much to envision my first Mother's Day with Sadie and as a mother of 3.  It's always been a day for me to reflect and show gratitude for these blessings He's given me, but as I did that this year, my heart hurt for Sadie.  

I truly am so thankful for my girls and enjoyed my day with them.  Being a mommy is hard stuff, but I wouldn't want my time devoted to anything else.  It's all I ever wanted to do.  Thankful He's allowed me the privilege!
