Eden's Music Party

My Eden Joy loves music, so I decided we should just go with that theme for her birthday party.  She also loves dancing and dressing up in Macy's leotards, so when I found some really cute ballerina partyware on Zulily, I decided to merge the music party with ballet.  It turned out really cute and I think Eden enjoyed it.  Our gift to Eden was a Cinderella bicycle (we've got a way to go with lessons though!)  But she was excited.

Since it was music themed, I decided to bust out my saxophone (it had been 11 years!) to play Happy Birthday while everyone sang and she blew out her candles.  Then, we moved the party outside where Josh had built an awesome stage which all the kiddos loved.  They finished eating cake and cupcakes and then decorated their tambourines.  After this, we played a few rounds of musical chairs then just let them play with the instruments on the stage and in the castle.  Such a fun morning!!

Eden is 3!

Cannot believe my baby girl just turned 3!

The morning of her birthday, Josh decided to go in to work late since it was Friday and we all headed to breakfast together.

Macy drew a picture of Eden looking out the window with a "3"...

The rest of Friday consisted of Mommy getting ready for Eden's party the following day.  Lots of baking, cleaning and decorating.

I'm due a big picture and update post on both the girls, so I will have to do that soon.  Eden has really grown up the last few months!

Week with Cason and Bryce

Aaron, Kristyn and the boys came to town late Friday, June 13th, to spend the weekend.  We had my grandfather's birthday and an out of town wedding that Saturday that they came in for and then they left the boys with my parents the following week.  They came back for Eden's birthday party the following weekend.

So the girls and I had a full week with Cason and Bryce!

Josh had to be gone overnight one night this week so Macy drew him a picture.  The girls miss him so much when he's gone and Macy always makes him something.

The girls were still catching up from VBS so they took some good naps!
