Eden's 1st Ponytail

Disney on Ice

On Saturday, April 6th, we headed to Dallas for Disney on Ice with Nana, Papa, Uncle Brad, Aunt Mandy, Mallory and Jack.  We were so impressed with the show and both girls loved it!  Even held Eden's attention!

Unfortunately, Eden woke up this morning with swollen, matted eyes and we suspected an ear infection.  After a quick trip to Urgent Care on our way out of town, we found out she did have a right ear infection.  But her little eyes just continued to run all day and she looked pitiful!  Thankfully, she acted fine and really seemed to enjoy the day:)

After lunch at Fuddruckers, we headed home and the girls were out quickly!

We've been soaking up the nice weather lately and enjoy eating our lunch outdoors...

Easter Sunday

What a great day of worship and time with our family as we celebrated our risen Lord!  Watching the Bible on the History channel has really overwhelmed me to see how much of a sacrifice and how much pain Jesus underwent to go to the cross.  And how much love!!  So thankful we serve a living God!

Our feeble attempt to snap a few pictures as we were running out the door!  You can see our concrete that still needs to be stained:/

After church we headed to Nana and Papa's for lunch and an Easter egg hunt.

Macy's silly smile!

Papa and Nathan

So sweet to see how much these cousins love each other!

A few more attempts to get a picture of the girls together...

The Skaggs' boys
Kristin made their ties and they looked so cute!

After lunch, changed and ready for instructions from Nana...

Due to the weather, we hunted eggs in the garage and the kids had so much fun!  We let the three little ones go first so they had a fighting chance...

Then we unleashed the big ones!

Nana and Papa had some fun games planned after the hunt: ring toss, pin the tail on the bunny, relay race with eggs on spoons, and Bingo.  They put so much into it and everyone had a great time!

As we were getting ready to leave, I found this little stinker in the kitchen sneaking some more jelly beans!

Happy Easter!!
