Beach, Anniversary and Father's Day

We got back yesterday from spending four days in Galveston with my family. We had a great time!

We arrived in Galveston on Wednesday just in time for lunch on Seawall Blvd.

After a quick WalMart trip, we arrived at our beach house around 3:00 and settled in. After we checked out the Beach Club and grilled hamburgers, we suited up to go to the beach!

On our front porch. Ocean in the background...

Macy's first experience with the sand and saltwater...not bad!

Sitting with Daddy
We headed back to the house around 8:30 and got the kiddos down for bed.

Thursday was our 4 year anniversary!

We spent the morning at Moody Gardens. Macy took her morning nap in her stroller...

The Aquarium at Moody Gardens. Macy did enjoy watching the fish until she went down for her nap.

The Rainforest at Moody Gardens. Notice the turtles on the log behind us...they were all fighting for a place in the sun!

Macy was ready to go after her nap and enjoyed the remainder of Moody Gardens

We got back to the beach house around 2:30 that afternoon and put the kids down for naps. My parents stayed there with them and Aaron, Kristyn, Josh and I headed to the pool at the Beach Club. Then, we cooked fajitas that night and headed back to the beach!

Macy uses a sound machine to sleep (that sounds similar to the ocean!) and within minutes of walking to the beach, she was out! It was so sweet. Josh and I went ahead and took her back to the house so she could get her bath and get in her bed...

Josh and Aaron Thursday night...

After Macy called it a night, Cason got busy digging a hole!

Friday morning, the guys stayed at the beach house to watch the US in the World Cup and Macy took her morning nap. My mom, me and Kristyn took Cason to the pool and he loved it!

Cool guy!

After Macy woke up, we ate lunch then Cason went down for his nap. Josh and I decided to take Macy to the pool to see how she liked the water. Sunscreen..check! Glasses..check! Hat..check!

The water was a little cold, but she loved it!

Just floating around...

Macy and Mommy

We managed to get a picture of the three of us thanks to a nice man sitting by the pool...

We headed back to the house and Macy took her afternoon nap. That night, we drove into town to eat an early dinner. When we got home, we went straight back to the pool!

Macy was even more lively this time in the water...

The six of us

Splashing water in her face...

Standing in the baby pool

We called it a night and headed back to pack.

Saturday morning, we snapped a few pictures before we left. Cason and Macy on the couch...

Out on the balcony...kiss from cousin Cason

My parents and the grandkids...

Macy and Daddy

Views from our balcony

Macy was such a trooper in the car...

But she needed Mommy's hand to sleep on the way home...

We had a blast and hated to come back so soon. Thanks Grammy and Pops for a great trip!!

Macy wanted me to mention on this special day that she has the greatest Daddy in the world...
