Easter 2011

What a great weekend we had celebrating our Risen Savior with our sweet families!

My brother and sister-in-law were in this weekend so we were able to get some cute pictures of Cason, Macy and Bryce

After pictures, Grammy and Pops gave the kids their Easter treats and Cason and Macy used their new baskets for an Easter egg hunt in our backyard

One of our favorite things to do was dump our entire basket. Cousin Cason came to help

It's time for the Easter egg hunt! At this point, we didn't even have to give Macy directions. She took off and knew exactly what to do

After we ate, Nana and Papa had a fun activity planned for the kids. They got to decorate their own flower pots, pick a flower to plant and water it with new watering cans! And to top it off, Nana made all the kids aprons with their initials on them

She picked an orange flower and took it to Papa who helped her plant it

Then, she filled up her watering can and watered her new plant!

They had a great time finding all the other things they could water in the yard. We finally had to cut off their water supply.

Macy was exhausted after all her Easter fun! She took a quick bath when we got home and went down for a nap. We finally had to wake her up at 6:45! She had played so hard.

What a wonderful day of worship and time with our family. We are so thankful we serve a living Savior!! Can't wait for Macy to understand this truth more and more through the years.
