What a great weekend we had celebrating our Risen Savior with our sweet families!
My brother and sister-in-law were in this weekend so we were able to get some cute pictures of Cason, Macy and Bryce
After pictures, Grammy and Pops gave the kids their Easter treats and Cason and Macy used their new baskets for an Easter egg hunt in our backyard
Showing Daddy her eggs
One of our favorite things to do was dump our entire basket. Cousin Cason came to help
Easter Sunday morning Macy had Minnie Mouse pajamas and an Easter VeggieTales in her basket
Trying to get a quick picture before church
After church, we headed to Nana and Papa's for lunch and Easter fun Here's the crew!
It's time for the Easter egg hunt! At this point, we didn't even have to give Macy directions. She took off and knew exactly what to do
Checking in with Grant and Scarlett
Opening her eggs to see what all she got!
Sitting with Scarlett
Snacking on an animal cracker before lunch
After we ate, Nana and Papa had a fun activity planned for the kids. They got to decorate their own flower pots, pick a flower to plant and water it with new watering cans! And to top it off, Nana made all the kids aprons with their initials on them
Decorating her flower pot with her name and stickers
Getting some help from Daddy
She picked an orange flower and took it to Papa who helped her plant it
Then, she filled up her watering can and watered her new plant!
All seven plants
They had a great time finding all the other things they could water in the yard. We finally had to cut off their water supply.
Macy, Daddy and Scarlett swinging
Macy was exhausted after all her Easter fun! She took a quick bath when we got home and went down for a nap. We finally had to wake her up at 6:45! She had played so hard.
What a wonderful day of worship and time with our family. We are so thankful we serve a living Savior!! Can't wait for Macy to understand this truth more and more through the years.
When we had our 22 week sono with Eden, we were kind of disappointed because we didn't get to see her at all in 4D, which we did with Macy. So, for an early Mother's Day gift, Josh decided to get us an appointment at Sonocare so we could see our little girl (and confirm that she is in fact a little girl)!
Her sweet little hands were in front of her face the entire time, but we did manage to get a few good pictures. "No pictures, please!" :-)
Feet up by her face
Sucking her thumb
And here's a comparison between our two girls:
Macy at 22 weeks
Eden at 30 weeks
The sonographer kept looking at Macy while she was playing and thought that Eden was really going to favor her. We will see! What a great gift to see this little miracle that we will meet in a few short months!
