Our precious blessing continues to be laid-back and go with the flow. She has some fussy moments when she's fighting tummy trouble, but for the most part you never know she's here. She's starting to smile more which is so fun and really tries to find Mommy and Daddy when she hears our voice.
I really thought the "new" would wear off, but Macy and Eden are still so enthralled with her and want to participate in every diaper change. I need to take a picture of the stool and chair we have permanently sitting in front of Kate's changing table so they can see her :) It's really sweet and they have done such a good job with her. Super gentle and loving. Macy's a pro at putting her paci in or fixing her headband. She told me her favorite thing about Kate is holding her. Eden loves putting her paci in as well and also gives lots of kisses to the top of her head. We still get so much joy watching them interact with her. One of the things we hurt the most for when we didn't bring Sadie home.
Kate eats every 3 hours during the day and has been a sleeping champ at night. She eats at 10:30 and sleeps from 11:00 - 7:00ish. Have no idea how we make this happen, but we are going to keep doing what we're doing:) She's still in our room; still in no hurry to rush through those milestones.
She still likes Soothies pacis but has also found her thumb a few times.
At her 2 month visit on the 1st, she weighed 9 pounds 4.5 ounces (7%) and was 22 inches long (28%). I could tell she was getting bigger! Eden was also 9.4 at her 2 month visit. She's in size 1 diapers and 0-3 month clothes are still a little big but her newborn things are getting snug (especially in the length). Dr. B gave her a great report!
We continue to praise God for this gift!
