Since Macy's birthday party was going to be almost a week after her actual birthday, we tried to make Sunday really special for her. After her nap, we headed back outside to play in her house and she ate her snack at the little table inside. Then we drove through Sonic and went to Faulkner park to eat. There was a baseball game going on, so we ate in the back of the car and watched the game.
We had also picked up a cupcake for her and decided to head back home (and strip her down!) before we let her at it.
We sang "Happy Birthday" and let her blow out the candle (with a little help from Daddy!)

I don't think she was a fan of the pink icing, so she must have thought clearly since it wasn't tasting good that it had to be finger paint and not food!
Overall, I think she had a fun day. She is going to be so excited when her birthday party gets here on Saturday :-)
