Macy had her Christmas party at dance this past Monday and the parents were invited to sit-in on their class and then they were given some treats to eat. Well, my little performer decided she just wasn't going to perform. You never know what's going on in that little head but we could tell she made her mind up that she just wasn't going to do it. She finally started participating a little, but it was half-hearted. When we asked her after class what the deal was, she just said "I didn't want all those people in there." Not a shy bone in her body, so not sure what that means! Oh well, a good lesson learned for Mommy and Daddy...as frustrating as it was, we just have to let it go and encourage her next time.
But she looked as cute as a button!
Her favorite part was hitting the ground with the sticks...no surprise there!
